Sterling Silver Hen Pheasant (Full Size) Partial Gilt

The full-size Hen Pheasant is part of the traditional range of British birds. Hand chased magnificently, from beak to tail tip, the full-size Hen Pheasant is cast in thirteen separate parts of solid silver, all taken from moulds made using the lost wax process. A hand craftsman then hand-chases all the details of the feathers to reemphasise the detail that wasn't possible in the casting, thereby highlighting all its life-like features. The use of these rare hand skills ensures each piece is unique as each hand stroke is slightly different. The Hen Pheasant stands at 28cm tall and 47cm long from beak to tail, and weighs 2,380g of sterling silver.
