Contract for sale
The advertising of products for sale on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Silver Direct, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of order' email dispatched once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.
Our products are of the highest quality and as such we guarantee to exchange any item deemed to be imperfect or refund your money. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase, simply call us within 24 hours of receipt and return the goods to us within 3 days.
These terms and conditions are not variable except by changes made on the site by Silver Direct. From time to time we may make alterations. In particular, something said by any representative of Silver Direct will not constitute as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them, unless is supported by documentation authorised and signed by a director of Silver Direct Ltd
Receipt of order
Silver Direct must receive payment for orders before in full they can be accepted. Once your credit card has been authorized and stock is checked, Silver Direct will send an email receipt confirming your order. Please keep this receipt for your records.
In exceptional circumstances, if we are not able to fulfill an order we have accepted, your credit card will be re-credited with the original price and you will be notified by email. In no circumstances will Silver Direct be liable to you for any additional amounts.
Silver Direct reserve the right to refuse to supply to any person for whatever reason.
Returning a product
If you need to return an item purchased online, contact us - firstname.lastname@example.org . We will require your original credit card details, your customer number, order number and the invoice date (all of which are printed on your invoice). We will need to talk to the person who purchased the product.
Our administrative staff will require a daytime (office hours) contact telephone number. Please ensure you obtain the name and surname of the operative who handles your call, and make a note of it. Engraved goods may not be returned. The person who placed the order may only return goods Returns will be accepted if the item is in its original condition, accompanied by the invoice and all details of the original order are received with it. A prompt refund will be issued if the item is in its original condition and all the information referred to above is received. The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. If there are any problems with your refund, a member of Silver Direct’s staff will contact you.
Cancellations and exchanges
If you realised you made a mistake and want to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Since we ship quickly, it may not be possible to stop your order so please follow the instructions for 'Returning a Product' in those instances. Please take extra care when ordering engraved goods as engraving errors will only be refunded or rectified at no cost to the customer if it is clearly the fault of Silver Direct. Exchanges will only be accepted from the person who placed and paid for the original order. Third party exchanges will be referred back to the original purchaser.
Defective and damaged items
In the unlikely event that you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Our administrative staff will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by delivering another item, replacing your order or refunding the amount paid.

We accept payment by VISA and MasterCard, Switch/Solo. Orders are securely processed through internet credit card verification and clearing process We will also accept cheque payment. Though it should be noted that dispatch will be delayed whilst the cheque is awaiting clearance. You can see that you are in a secure environment through the 'padlock' symbol on Microsoft Internet Explorer or 'key' symbol on Netscape Navigator. SSL works with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0 and later/ Netscape Browser versions 2.0 and later. We feel it's important to have this level of security available, so anyone using lower version browsers should contact us by phone to place an order.
